The Alumni and Friends of Lynn Classical High School will be hosting a Golf Tournament and Scholarship Fundraiser at Lynn’s Gannon Municipal Golf Course on Saturday, June 16 2012.
The nine hole golf tournament will begin @ 3:00 PM with staggered tee times until 5:30 PM, followed by dinner at 7:30 PM with entertainment by Tony Gallo (’81) and Friends in the Gannon Clubhouse. Put together a foursome of your high school friends, or bring your Dad out for some golf on the Father’s Day weekend.

Not a golfer?

Skip the golf tournament and come us for just the dinner & entertainment! Donation for Golf & Dinner will be $100, and just $40 for the dinner. We also need help with raffle donations, holes sponsors, and program advertisements. Your support will make this event a great success.

The Friends & Alumni of Lynn Classical High School will be sponsoring an evening of entertainment and socializing featuring naionally acclaimed LCHS Class of 1974 Alumni, Comedian and Folk artist, Don White.

We will be raising much needed funds to support our Scholarship Program through a silent aucion and program book.

Tickets will be $20.00 in advance, $25.00 at the door.

Thank You to everyone that took part in the raffle to help us raise funds for our scholarship program. Phyllis may have won an afternoon at Fenway Park to watch one of the greatest baseball teams to ever play the game, but it is the students that receive scholarships funded through these find raisers and the opportunity for continued education and success, that are the real winners.

Please consider spending the day with us or even just an evening dinner to support The Alumni Association and help pave the way to success for Classical Grads.

Golf

This is a 9-hole tournament and will kick off at 3:00 pm. Golfers should plan to arrive early enough to organize your teams and check-in with our registration volunteers at the course.

Registration includes

• 1 cart per foursome (sorry, there is a limited number of carts available)
• 9 holes of golf
• Boxed Lunch provided by Sidekim Foods
• Prizes for Best Ball, Closest to Pin, etc.
• Dinner

Dinner

Dinner, served at about 5:00 pm, will be buffett style Surf and Turf (steak tips and baked haddock) along with salad, veggie medley and roasted potatoes.

Silent Auction and Raffles

• A weekend stay at the Seaport Hotel in Boston with Dinner and Breakfast for two.

Since 1994, our organization has been committed to providing Lynn Classical Seniors with scholarship awards to help them realize their dreams of a college education.  Our goal this year is to reach and exceed a total of $500,000.00 in scholarship awards given by the association to Lynn Classical’s inspiring and aspiring students. This is an exciting time for us as we approach this goal.

In order for the Alumni and Friends of Lynn Classical High School to continue its dedicated work to provide worthy students with scholarship assistance, we will be hosting a Golf Tournament and Dinner on August 21, 2010 at Kelley Greens in Nahant. Imagine seeing the Red Sox at Fenway park for 5 bucks ($5). It’s unheard of these days. But that’s exactly what we’re offering. So what’s the catch? Well… for $5 AND a little luck, you could find yourself cheering for the Sox from your own seat in Fanway Park. But even if luck isn’t on your side, you’ll be helping out a great cause. This is just one of the fund raisers The Alumni and Friends of Lynn Classical High School Inc. holds  each year to help raise money for scholarships.
